DESCRIPTION: These are absolutely stunning! They are shell that have been tumbled smooth, coloured and then electroplated to give them a high lustre AB finish. AB finish is otherwise know as Rainbow Lustre or looks like paua or petrol slick type finish. Very colourful and they will look great made up in jewellery.

"Erose" means Irregularly notched, toothed, or indented, so describes the irregular shape. I am not certain of the original shell because the colouring hides it but to me they look like Blister pearls (mis formed pearls that are cut off the mollusk shell so typically have a pearl shape with 1 flat side and a shard of shell).

SIZES: varies but average of 9-16mm long x 5-7mm wide x 5mm thick with a 0.5mm side drilled hole.

AMOUNT: 40cm (16) strand. Approx 58 beads per strand.
